two wines from our early years—a time when we were still getting acquainted with our vines. In spite of their age, these two retain a mischievous degree of youth, so while the have developed palate & texture, there is room to evolve yet.
never labelled due to the tiny harvest at the time, the wines have only made appearances at private functions, dinners & weddings. they have lingered on a single mixed pallet in cool storage primarily because they were unlabelled & mostly indistinguishable.
the wines were almost labelled "em dash" & "en dash". it turned out most petit verdot bottles have a very faint em dash after the bottle code number, & the chambourcins an en dash. We hope you like the label we ended up with.
